A Great Place to Raise a Family!

As Christians, we are called to be a visible witness to God’s Word through faith in God and loving action toward our neighbors.

This is our Statement of Purpose and guides all that we teach and do. Our neighbors are everyone that we are connected to, whether by physical contact or across the world. In light of discrimination, mistreatment and violence toward some members of God’s family, we have included this in our Statement of Inclusion:

In response to our calling to share the message of God’s unconditional love, we welcome people of all ages, genders, races, sexual orientations, socioeconomic levels, and physical and mental abilities as full participants in our community of faith.

We are a congregation of families of all types and sizes, with a growing group of young adults with children. Children and youth participate consistently in our ministries, including Austin Street Center, Dallas and Mesquite Pride events, and monthly and emergency food distribution. They represent the future of St. Stephen and are the focus of efforts to expand their involvement.
